It's not everyday that you come over something completely new, specially when it comes to loudspeakers.
The Italians behind Bolzano Villetri have created some mysterious and amazing loudspeakers that not only look special, but is based on a unique philosophy and the result comes with it. It must be mentioned that we only have read about them, not listened so how good the speakers work in reality is left to be discovered.
The floorstanding Laurana is BV's biggest loudspeaker with 360 degrees roundstream spread of soundwaves. The philosophy's main idea is to recreate the big concertexperience at home. BV has chosen to recreate the reality with a 360 degrees soundspread.
Laurana belongs to Citta Ideale, BV's high-end series and the mentioned model has four 17cm bass/middletone elements and four 28mm tweeters in order to spread the sound. It is 1,7 m tall och reaches down to 27 hz. There is also a center and subwoofer in the serie plus a smaller floorstanding named Studiolo.
BV produces also two cheaper series, Campanile and Fonte, all of them the same roundstream idea. Very interesting we have to say and don't be surprised if we set it up for a test in our next issue.
